Since 1993. The Minasul Coffee Quality Contest promotes the good coffees of Minas Gerais. Encouraging the improvement of quality, the cooperative proves the potential that the region has to produce specialty coffee.
The coffees entered are evaluated by a team composed of Q Graders who will cup and score according to the protocol of SCAA - Specialty Coffee Association of America. Twenty coffees will be selected as finalists for the categories natural and pulped natural. It will analyze aspects such as aroma, fragrance, flavor, body, acidity and after taste.
The Minasul Coffee Quality Contest has been held since 1993 with the main objective of promoting the quality of our region and members to the international market. Registration is free and it can be made at the Specialty Coffee Department.
